We're seeking a Software Implementation Consultant or Transport Modeller with experience in transport or logistics modelling — particularly rail rostering or crew management. You'll work closely with customers to onboard them onto our cloud-based platform, support model development, and troubleshoot optimisation challenges.
This role will help us scale domestically while building capacity to support international expansion.
What You’ll Do
- Work alongside customers to map their operational data into our software framework
- Build and optimisze transport models (e.g., crew rostering, shift planning)
- Own the customer onboarding process: data ingestion, training, user support
- Troubleshoot issues — especially in optimisation modelling workflows
- Provide ongoing user support to ensure customer success
- Contribute to continuous improvement of optimisation tools and documentation
- Travel domestically every 1–2 months for site visits; international travel opportunities exist as we expand
- Assist with business development and account management activities
- Provide input into the software development process
About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Commerce, or similar
- Have experience in a customer-facing role—preferably within rail, transport modelling, logistics, or shift-planning
- Are comfortable interpreting data and delivering analytic insights with tools like SQL, Power BI, or Tableau
- Enjoy problem-solving, modelling, and collaborating directly with users
- Are based in Brisbane, with willingness to travel Australia-wide (and occasionally abroad)
- An aptitude for clear, personable communication (verbal and written)
- The ability to influence and manage customer relationships.
- A passion for innovation and a desire to grow and learn.
- Delivers what they promise to a high standard
Nice to haves - Exposure to AWS/Azure or working in a SaaS/software consulting environment
Benefits
- Fun, inclusive and nurturing team culture who’ll work hard to deliver excellent results for customers
- Annual bonus
- Flexible, hybrid schedule – 2 days WFH and 3 days in our Brisbane office once you have completed onboarding
- Opportunity to learn from a great mentor who is an expert with our software
- Work closely with our software developers scoping, building, testing, and implementing software solutions
- Opportunity for travel – domestic to start and international as we scale
