What You’ll Be Doing
This is a senior finance role with end-to-end accountability for Deswik’s Southeast Asia entities. Operating at Financial Controller level, you will take ownership of financial control, statutory compliance, audit and tax, while acting as a trusted partner to Group Finance, Sandvik entities in the region, and regional leadership.
The role blends hands-on oversight with strategic influence, offering exposure across both regional operations and Group reporting in a complex, multi-country environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Full financial control across SEA entities, including statutory reporting, audit, tax and governance
- Lead and manage external providers and overseas accountants, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance
- Own audit and tax outcomes, working closely with Group Finance, Sandvik and external advisors
- Provide senior-level business partnering to sales, business development and country leadership for setting financial targets and ongoing follow ups
- Oversee financial risk, strengthen controls, and drive continuous improvement across the region
- Contribute to Group reporting functions including monthly reporting, internal controls and audit with approximately 30% Group focus
- Act as a regional finance authority, balancing commercial realities with compliance discipline
About You
- Established Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager with strong judgement and ownership mindset
- Deep expertise in financial accounting, audit, tax and multi-entity compliance
- Proven hands-on experience with end-to-end accounting for SEA entities including complex multi-country environments
- Confident engaging and influencing senior, demanding stakeholders
- Comfortable leading through influence rather than direct authority
- CA / CPA qualified with strong IFRS capability
